Alpine Bowl & Lake Tahoe

The view from the summit at Alpine... Can't count how many times I sat down and strapped in looking at this view during March. And yes, I do realize that "sat down and strapped in" sounds dirty.

Super bummed the season is winding down... I am REALLY going to miss those days on the mountain. Something about snowboarding really does help keep me chilled-out and relaxed, while also providing me with a total state of euphoria.

Now I have to find another activity to entertain myself. Seriously considering surf lessons. A little more scared of the ocean than I care to admit, but we shall see...

Did I Ever Tell You How Lucky You Are? (Classic Seuss)

OK. I know it seems crazy that I am admitting I was scared of Dr. Seuss books as a child, but I absolutely blame Dr. Seuss for my fear of heights. Do you REMEMBER those roads they had to travel? Narrow, towering roads with crumbling rocks and oversized vehicles... It was death just WAITING to happen.
